The U. Wow, well done.
Unlike most U fans I run into, I actually want 'the enemy' to win. I didn't think the U would win, but that kind of wild optimism is for fans. But man, I watched the game, they kicked can. Frankly, unless Florida or Oklahoma blows the other out of the water, I think Utah should be number 1.

Besides, BYU will get their share of the BCS cash.
Sigh, Dan. I think you should give a shred more credit. I am sure you know some pretty narrow minded and boisterous University of Utah fans. You shouldn't judge all by that though. I think you might be surprised to know how many Utah fans root for BYU with the exception of the one game in November, and had the positions been reversed, I think you find many a Utah alumni/fan sitting at home last night enjoying every minute of watching the Y beat Alabama.
No doubt. I don't want to take anything away from the intelligent U fans. Its just that, unfortunately, both stripe blue and red, seem to be the quiet majority. Most fans that you run into that will run their mouth want the other to lose at all costs.
It never ceases to amaze me how long they will scream that the other team sucks. How does beating a sucky team make you better? Oh, well.
